I thought doing the EGR delete, ECU tune and intake manifold cleaning would take care of all those issues in one maintenance blitz. I'm not against leaving the EGR valve in place, especially if it doesn't cause intake issues. The assumption these intakes gummed up was the primary reason to explore the EGR delete.

Instead of going to the EGR cooler, connect the hose from the cylinder head to the plastic "Tee" that's in front of the tandem pump.
