The Metro games are linear, and fallout is really the only other first person post apocalyptic shooter. So I don't think having Far Cry take a shot in this setting would over saturate or cause those games to lose anything. I feel like we need more games taking on this setting, not less. Really hope Far Cry does something in the wasteland.
The next installment takes place before the events of Far Cry 5, so there would be no need to physically change animals. However, a version of Far Cry: Primal's Great Beasts would be a nice sight.
After buying Far Cry 6, so far I'm massively disappointed with the game. The map is far to big imo and I feel overwhelmed by the many different regions and the sheer number of missions etc. I also find much of the map looks the same rather than the variations between regions in FC5. Also doing side missions doesn't feel like I'm contributing to
