There are growing complaints about the new MacBook Pro models delivering battery life well +1 for battery life disappointment. My 13″ MBP (w/ Touch Bar, 3.3GHz i7, 16GB, MacOS 10.12.2) is MacBook Pro M3 battery life vs. competing laptops. I've tried it twice so far. 1st time - 1hr43m Zoom meeting drained battery from 100% to 38%. Nothing else running in the background. 2nd time - 1hr30m Zoom meeting drained battery from 100% to 51%. Again, nothing running in the background. From my experience and a few (pro) online reviews, the i7 generate noticeably more heat than the i5. For a worthless performance boost.
